    Overthepastdecades,AirbushasbeenprovidingChinesecustomerswiththemostmodernandcomprehensivefamilyofaircraftonthemarket.Today,some1,015AirbusaircrafthavebeenputintoserviceontheChineseMainland.
    ToensurethesmoothoperationofAirbusaircraft,AirbushasalsodevelopedafullrangeofservicestoallcustomersinChina.Airbushassome20FieldServiceLocationsin10Chinesecitiestoprovidetheon-sitecustomerservicesandtechnicalsupport.Aworld-classtrainingandsupportcentre,whichrepresentsamorethanUS$100millioninvestmentbyAirbus,isfullyoperationalinBeijing.
    Airbusiscommittedtoforgingalong-termstrategicpartnershipwithChina.
    ABECwasinauguratedinmid2005withamissiontoperformdesignworkforAirbus’currentandfutureAircraftprogrammes.ItwasoperatedasaWhollyOwnedForeignEnterprise(WOFE).From2008,itbecameajointventurebetweenAirbusChinaLimited(70%),HafeiAviationIndustryCompanyLimited(HAI,18%),JiangxiHongduAviationIndustryCompanyLimited(7%)andChinaAviationIndustryCorporationI(5%).
    InJune2007,AirbussignedajointventurecontractwithaChineseConsortiumcomprisingTianjinFreeTradeZone,AVICIandAVICIIfortheestablishmentofanA320FamilyFinalAssemblyLineinChina.On28thSeptember2008,ChinesePremierWenJiabao,togetherwiththeParty’sSecretaryofTianjin,ZhangGaoliandAirbusPresidentandCEOTomEndersinauguratedtheAirbusA320FamilyFinalAssemblyLineinTianjin,China(FALC)atagrandceremonywithover600guests.
    HarbinHafeiAirbusCompositeManufacturingCentreCompanyLimited(HMC)wasestablishedinJune2009.ItisajointventurebetweenAirbusChinaandagroupofChinesepartnerscomprisingHarbinAircraftIndustryGroupCorporationLimited,HafeiAviationIndustryCompanyLimited,AviChinaIndustry&TechnologyCompanyLimitedandHarbinDevelopmentZoneInfrastructureDevelopmentCompanyLimited.
